It's almost summer...

Do you Facebook? If you do, the Teen Area now has its very own Facebook page! You can find a calendar of events, and general information about what we have in our space. Also, you can look at pictures from various events that we've held.

In other news, coming up soon, the library will be hosting a Breaking Dawn Release Party. No, this isn't going to happen at midnight. And no, we probably won't have free copies of the book for you to take home. But, even taking all of that in mind, if you're a fan of the Twilight series and Stephenie Meyer, then this might be an event that you would want to attend. During the party there will be contests, giveaways, trivia, and, I'm sure, the ever present discussions on who Bella should end up with - Edward or Jacob. If you are interested, you are more than welcome to help in the planning of this party. More details will be coming out over the summer, so keep your eyes peeled for them.

And finally, don't forget about Teen Summer Reading. Sign up will begin on June 2 and the program will run through August 2. Basic details of the program are - read 6 books throughout the summer, write a little review of each, and win prizes! If you read all 6 books, your name will go into a drawing for an end-of-summer prize that's bigger than the rest. We will also have a few special SRP events over the summer - you do not have to sign up for the program to attend the events, but you do have to sign up to win the prizes. More information about the prizes and programs will come out as it gets closer to sign up time!
